EducationByram Township is known for its exceptional school system. Byram Township contains two public schools for grades K - 8. Both the Byram Lakes Elementary School and the Byram Township Intermediate School are run by the Byram Township Board of Education. The Byram Lakes Elementary School (which just opened this year) houses grades K - 4. The Byram Township Intermediate School houses for grades 5 - 8.

further information. Byram is a sending district for Lenape Valley Regional High School The citizens of Byram Township approved the referendum to build a new school! This referendum went before the voters on December 12, 2000 and passed. The proposal is to build a new modern school building that will host Kindergarten - 4th grade. The Intermediate School will continue to host 5th - 8th grade students. The target completion date is the start of the 2003 school calendar year. The Consolidated School will be converted and used for administrative offices and educational purposes.
