WHO MAY ENTER: The contests are open to all residents of Byram Township: men, women or juniors. (Commercial, Industrial or Professional Cooks, Home Economists, etc. are not eligible to enter)
Bring Pie and/or Chili entries to the Cooking Contest Table at Byram Day between 12:00 and 1:00 pm
Judging will begin at 1:15 pm
Winners will be announced at the stage
PIE BAKING CONTEST (sponsored by Byram Christian Fellowship)
Judging criteria will include: Appearance, Texture, Taste, Crust and Most unique
Rules: Submit a 3x5 card with recipe, your name, age, address and phone (please print!)
Pies become the property of the Byram Day Committee (please use a non-returnable baking dish!)
CHILI COOK OFF (WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE BEST DARN CHILI IN BYRAM!)

Bring your pot (just a quart will do!) of chili to Byram Day and let the judges decide
Judging criteria will include: Texture, Flavor, Spiciness (Mild or Hot or Not Too Hot (but not too wimpy!)
Meat or Veggie Chili entries will be accepted
