Bid# 24-09 CO Johnson Park-Field 8 Reconstruction
A general overview of the project includes the renovation and reconstruction of an existing natural grass athletic field. The reconstruction includes added stormwater drainage, field underdrains, topsoil rehabilitation, sod, irrigation, wet well, pumps, and electrical work.
NOTE: It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the bid package is delivered to the Township of Byram Clerks Office by the bid opening date and time. Any bid document received after the deadline established by this legal notice will not be accepted, regardless of the method of delivery.

Bids are solely available in electronic format and may be obtained during business hours by requesting the bid package via email to the Municipal Clerks Office at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
Submission of bid
A sealed bid proposal shall be submitted on the prescribed form therein, all spaces properly filled in and with all required supporting documentation. The sealed envelope, addressed to The Township of Byram, 10 Mansfield Drive, Stanhope, NJ 07874 and bearing the name and address of the bidder written on the face of the envelope clearly marked "BID" with the contract title and/or BID # being identified.
Bidders shall submit an original as well as a printed copy(ies), clearly labeled as "COPY". Bidders shall also submit their bid on a non-returnable Flash Drive with their company name clearly marked and the bid name on the outer envelope if an envelope is used for the flash drive.
Bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten per centum (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars and made payable to Byram Township. The bid bond may also be provided in certified check and cashier's check in accord with provisions within general requirements of this bid.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on August 29, 2024 at 9am at the project site.
Questions: All bid questions must be sent in writing to the Engineer at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and cover-copied to the Purchasing Consultant at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), no later than 3:00 PM on September 5, 2024.
Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et. Seq.,
The Township of Byram will award this bid to the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law. This procurement has been advertised in accordance with the "Fair and Open Basis" under the Pay-to-Play Legislation (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5).
