Trail and Area Description:

For walkers, joggers and dogs (on a leash), there are different / overlapping paths in and around the park that are easily accessible anywhere from within the park or from any of the parking areas.  The paths are mostly asphalt and packed earth, so they are easy to see and easy to hike as they are relatively flat.  The path around the park is just under a mile and takes you along the back of the park, parallel with the wooded area.  The paths within the park wind around ball fields and the playground, and are approximately 1/2 to 3/4  mile long depending on the path taken.  The park is open daily until dusk.

The Tamarack Park Trail can also be accessed from C.O. Johnson Park.  Park at the small upper lot on Roseville Road (approximately 1/4 mile as you come in from Tamarack Road).  Across from this parking lot you will find the Tamarack Park Trail post.

Parking Areas - There are several different parking areas within the park as well as a handicapped parking lot available up the hill next to the playground area.
