Townwide Reassessment 2027 for 2028

Byram Township has not completed a reassessment in nearly fifteen years. New Jersey real estate tax law requires all real property to be assessed at 100% of its market value and requires assessments to be equalized across the municipality.
A reassessment is a municipality-wide program that reviews and updates the assessed value of all real property to reflect fair market value. Its purpose is to ensure that the property tax burden is distributed equitably among property owners.
