03/07/2023 - Click link for Byram’s Certification of Stated Aid for Calendar Year 2023: The amount of Total Energy Tax Receipts increased $3,978 to $579,453. Since the budget has not been introduced, the town is required to update the budget to include the additional state aid prior to introduction. The additional state aid was used to reduce the amount to be raised by taxes. The budget plan now has property taxes totaling $9,076,889, or 71.94% of the revenues. This a 2.92% or $257,354 increase of the tax levy.
